Hey, Adam, don't you think the freshwater angrels of SJ would be better served by the State eliminating the trout stocking and focusing instead on enhancing the habitat and numbers of those species more natural to the region, like bass, crappie, and pickeral? Trout (and trout stamps) don't fit in slow-moving, warmer blackwater, except that the State can make a few extra bucks by convincing spring and fall Saturday angrels that they're really fishing with fly-rods and nymphs in the fast moving streamwaters of upstate New York.
Interesting topic even more interesting is obnviersg the reactions some teens have when it comes to child birth. At this age(teens), having a child should be the last thing on our minds, first before anything should be our education. I see teenage mothers/fathers or mothers/fathers-soon-to-be all the time walking the halls of VHS and I pity them. Either they purposely wanted a child for some bizarre reason or they made some bad choices when it came to contraception. Those are 2 types of teenage pregnancies, now here are the 2 types of teenage parent: either a ghettolicious hot mama and papa whom after high believe to live(mooch) off their parents and/or grandparents until the day they die or decide to contribute to society. Teen Parent number 2 is: the hopeful, ambitious, and smart student who dreams of doing something his/her life and yet one day decided to experiment with sex and ignorantly f%$^ed their lives up. In conclusion, if you are dumb enough to make such a decision such as unsafe sex then you don't need a parental chat you need a reality check, loser. ;]PS; thank you Beth for such a good topic.
A good way to get leaders to doeelvp this skill (or identify bad leaders) is to put them into a process they know nothing about. I recently was put in charge of an extremely complex process I literally had no knowledge of. When I am presented with a problem, I have no choice but to ask questions like: Explain why you think that? and What do you recommend to fix it?. Bad leaders will fall on their swords in this situation, because they simply don't have the knowledge to be a fixer.
Another situation with qesutions that also needs to be guarded against is asking qesutions only until we get the answer we want. This type of manipulation can be done without being overly suggestive in how the question is asked. At the moment, the associates will feel like the idea is theirs, but ownership will be lost in the long run as associates realize they were manipulated through the questioning. Also, it is important to continue asking qesutions even if the associate's answer is correct. That allows them to think deeper and to understand the Whys behind their answer not just the Whats . However, if a leader is known to be manipulative in their questioning as above, they will become suspicious of the qesutions and the learning opportunities are lost.
there are others but I wuodln't personally recommend them to you if I haven't tried it out myself in case of security and privacy issues, I will try to check others though and will post them in the description.
